Tree & Shrub Care Services
Whether your trees are healthy and you want to keep them that way, or something's already going wrong, the approach starts the same way — with an honest look at what's actually going on. From there, Brett recommends exactly what your trees and shrubs need. Nothing more.
Preventative Tree Care
Keep healthy trees healthy.
Trees don't stay healthy on their own — especially in Treasure Valley soil and climate. High pH soils, summer heat, and overwintering insects all take a toll. A little prevention goes a long way toward avoiding bigger, more expensive problems down the road.
-
(Plant health care program / seasonal tree treatment)
Twice-yearly visits, spring and fall, timed around the pest and disease pressures that actually affect trees and shrubs in Boise and the Treasure Valley. Brett builds a plan around what's on your property — so you're not paying for treatments you don't need. The most cost-effective way to keep your landscape healthy year-round. -
(Fruit tree spray program / fruit tree insect and disease control)
For apple, peach, cherry, pear, plum and other fruit trees. A seasonally timed spray program that protects against common insects and fungal disease so your fruit trees stay healthy and productive all season long. -
(Tree health evaluation / plant health care consultation)
Not sure if your trees need anything? Brett will come take a look, walk you through what he sees, and give you an honest recommendation — no obligation either way. Most Treasure Valley homeowners are surprised by how much a trained eye can spot in a single visit.
Tree Problem Treatment
Diagnose first. Treat precisely.
Something looks off — and you want to know what, and whether it can be fixed. Brett will assess the tree in person, figure out what's actually going on, and treat the cause, not just the symptom.
-
(Tree insect control / tree and shrub insect treatment)
Treatment for damaging insects — borers, aphids, scale, lilac borer, cottony maple scale, caterpillars, and more. Brett identifies the pest on-site and applies the right treatment for your specific tree and situation. Different insects require different approaches — getting it right starts with knowing what you're dealing with.
-
(Tree disease treatment / tree decline diagnosis / iron chlorosis treatment Boise)
On-site diagnosis for trees showing signs of stress, disease, or decline — yellowing leaves, thinning canopy, early leaf drop, or visible damage. Iron chlorosis is one of the most common causes of yellowing leaves in Treasure Valley trees, particularly in maples, birch, and oak growing in our high-pH soils. You'll get a straight answer about what's wrong and what it'll take to fix it.
-
(Root rot treatment / crown rot treatment / fungal disease treatment)
If you're seeing mushrooms near the base of a tree, weeping or discolored bark, or unexplained decline from the ground up, it could be root or crown rot. Fungal diseases like this are treatable — but timing matters. Spring and fall applications give the best results.
-
(Fruit inhibitor treatment / crabapple fruit suppression)
Tired of crabapples, ornamental pears, or other fruit dropping all over your yard? A properly timed spring treatment can significantly reduce or eliminate fruit production — without harming the tree. One of the most underused services in the Treasure Valley.
